Ropes Course, Outdoor Lab

Clemson University is soliciting qualified vendors to design, fabricate, and install a new ropes‑course challenge system at its Outdoor Laboratory on Hartwell Lake. The project requires a linear course with at least nine elements, incorporating both existing trees/poles and new structures, meeting ANSI/ACCT 03‑2019 standards, and includes a zip line and optional continuous‑belay system. The vendor must also remove unusable existing components, provide a full inspection report, and train university staff on operation and safety. Work must be completed and staff trained by early June 2027, with a non‑mandatory site visit on 26 Oct 2026.
