GoTriangle, the public‑transit authority for Durham, Orange, and Wake counties, is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive real‑property and right‑of‑way acquisition services for its transit expansion projects. The contractor will handle title work, appraisals, negotiations, deed preparation, condemnation support, relocation assistance, and public outreach, ensuring compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations, the Uniform Relocation Act, and North Carolina statutes. The contract will be for an initial three‑year term with the possibility of renewal, and payment will be milestone‑based.
• Scope includes fee‑simple acquisitions, permanent and temporary easements, utility easements, and related legal instruments.
• Provide independent real‑estate appraisals and technical reviews per USPAP and 49 C.F.R. 24 standards.
• Deliver relocation advisory services for displaced residents and businesses, including eligibility determination and payment calculations.
• Prepare and record deeds, easement agreements, and other transfer documents; coordinate with title companies, surveyors, and legal counsel.
