Description
The New York City Police Department’s Criminalistics Section needs a single, brand‑specific Rigaku MiniFlex 6G benchtop X‑Ray Diffraction (XRD) instrument for forensic analysis of tape, chemicals, and explosives. The agency intends to negotiate a sole‑source contract with Rigaku Americas but invites other vendors to submit an Expression of Interest via PASSPort. The contract will cover manufacturing, delivery, and acceptance of the instrument, with work to commence on 1 January 2027 and conclude by 31 December 2027. The solicitation was released 21 October 2026, and responses are due 4 November 2026.
