Description
The City of Worcester contracted a single vendor to provide comprehensive fire‑alarm testing and inspection services for the Worcester Public Schools system. The work covers approximately 55 school facilities, requiring on‑site functional testing of alarm notification appliances, control panels, initiating devices, power supplies, and public‑emergency reporting equipment in accordance with NFPA 72. Testing must be performed evenings (3 p.m.–11 p.m.) on weekdays, with a five‑day advance schedule, and all work must be completed within four months of receipt of the purchase order. Invoices are submitted every ten working days with a 30‑day prompt‑pay discount and net‑45 terms. The contract is for one year with two optional one‑year renewals.
