Wind Working Group

This contract provides professional‑service support for Alaska Energy Authority’s Alaska Wind Working Group (AKWWG). The awardee will manage the AKWWG, facilitate quarterly meetings, produce newsletters, conduct public outreach and education, host an annual technical wind workshop, and perform funding‑research activities. The work is performed on a time‑and‑expenses basis over a one‑year base period with the possibility of two additional one‑year renewals. The contract’s budget ceiling is $30‑$40 k for the first year, and the vendor must maintain Alaska business licensing, appropriate insurance, and comply with de‑debarring and indemnification requirements. • Quarterly facilitation of AKWWG meetings and production of newsletters. • Annual two‑day technical wind workshop and additional public education forum. • Ongoing research and preparation of grant‑funding applications for wind‑energy projects.
