The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide software licenses and hardware warranty for the V-Armed Virtual Reality Simulator. The simulator is used to enhance VA Police training ability for Active Threat and Crisis Intervention. The contract will include software license and updates, as well as an onsite operator technician who will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and operations of the system. The technician must be credentialed and sponsored by V-Armed and pass required contractor background investigations. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing software licenses and updates for the V-Armed Virtual Reality Simulator • Maintaining an onsite operator technician for the system • Ensuring the technician is credentialed and sponsored by V-Armed • Passing required contractor background investigations • Providing repair and/or replacement for all equipment malfunctions associated with the V-Armed System not due to operator error or misuse
