Description
The City of Atlanta’s Department of Public Works and Atlanta Fire Rescue Department are seeking multiple qualified vendors to provide comprehensive repair, maintenance, and parts supply services for approximately 300 fire‑apparatus, rescue vehicles, and related public‑safety equipment. The work includes routine maintenance, emergency repairs, warranty work, and parts delivery, all in compliance with NFPA 1911 and local environmental standards. Vendors must demonstrate capability to respond within 48‑72 hours, operate Monday‑Friday (7 am‑4 pm) with optional 24/7 coverage, and maintain a service center within 175 miles of downtown Atlanta. The procurement will proceed through a pre‑qualification phase followed by an Invitation for Bid.
• Service scope: routine, emergency, and warranty repairs for fire trucks, ladders, AARF units, ambulances, hazmat and command vehicles.
• Parts supply: OEM‑quality parts, optional use of City‑owned inventory, detailed invoicing requirements.
• Performance: 48‑72 hour turnaround, detailed reporting (daily emergency, weekly general).
