As-Needed Concrete Construction (CIP No. 8290)

The City of Vista is seeking sealed bids for an “As‑Needed Concrete Construction” contract (CIP 8290). The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, materials, traffic control, and related services to execute a wide range of concrete work throughout the city, including curb and gutter reconstruction, sidewalk replacement, driveway and alley improvements, ADA ramp construction, mailbox relocation, sign relocation, and traffic‑control plans. Work will be performed on a task‑order basis as needs arise, with quantities and unit measures detailed in the bid schedule. Bidders must submit a bid proposal, bid bond, and required forms by the stated deadline. • Provide plant, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation for concrete construction tasks. • Perform traffic‑control planning (SDRSD Traffic Control Plans, site‑specific plans). • Relocate/replace roadside signs, mailboxes, and other city assets per standard drawings. • Reconstruct 4‑, 6‑, and 8‑inch PCC curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, alleys, and private driveways. • Install ADA‑compliant curb ramps (multiple design types, with/without spandrels). • Follow City of Vista engineering specifications and submit required documentation (W‑9, bid bond, etc.).
