Buckley SFB - Catholic Priest

The United States Space Force is seeking a Catholic priest to provide administrative support, religious services, and pastoral care at Buckley Space Force Base. The contractor will be responsible for providing weekday and Sunday Masses, sacramental preparation, and other religious services. The contractor must be a Roman Catholic priest in good standing with their home diocese and the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), and must possess a valid DD Form 2088, Statement of Ecclesiastical Endorsement. The contractor will work 20 hours per week and will be required to attend quarterly meetings with the Contracting Officer's Representative to review performance and discuss any issues. The contract will be for a base period of one year, with four option periods of one year each. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Providing weekday and Sunday Masses, as well as sacramental preparation and other religious services • Coordinating with the chapel staff to provide comprehensive pastoral care to the Catholic community • Providing guidance to the Coordinator of Religious Education and other volunteers • Maintaining sacramental records and submitting reports to the Archdiocese for the Military Services • Participating in quarterly meetings with the Contracting Officer's Representative to review performance and discuss any issues
