Saturday Fixed Route Transit Services RFP

The City of Bettendorf is seeking a qualified transportation provider to operate three Saturday fixed routes. The contract period will be for three years, with the option to extend up to an additional two years, with satisfactory performance. The provider will be responsible for furnishing professional fixed route transit operations, including dispatch services, vehicle maintenance, and staffing. The City will award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the cumulative value of all three years. • The contract requires the provider to operate three Saturday fixed routes, using their own vehicles, dispatch service, and staff. • The provider must maintain insurance, including commercial general liability, commercial automotive liability, and umbrella liability. • The provider must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to civil rights, labor, and environmental protection. • The provider must submit reports to the City, including annual, monthly, and weekly reports, and must maintain records related to the contract. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to cancel the contract with thirty days' written notice if the provider's performance is unsatisfactory.
