Special Interest Classes (Continuous Selection)

The City of Surprise is seeking qualified vendors to provide special interest classes for the Parks and Recreation Department. The classes can be for all ages and may include topics such as tumbling, fine arts, martial arts, dance, and more. The vendor will be responsible for overall program development and operation with minimal supervision by the City. The contract period will commence on the date of award and will have a 1-year base period with four 1-year option periods. The City will determine the facility and room location for all classes, and the vendor will provide all necessary materials and equipment. The vendor must also provide proof of current fingerprint clearance and background check for all associated staff and volunteers. Some key points to consider: • The City of Surprise has several city-owned facilities and parks available for classes. • The City will provide class rosters and determine the minimum and maximum participants. • The vendor must provide a completed W-9, certificate of insurance, and business license. • The vendor must also provide proof of current fingerprint clearance and background check for all associated staff and volunteers. • The City reserves the right to cancel classes at any time.
