Special Education Evaluation Services

Southwest Independent School District (SWISD) is soliciting qualified vendors to provide in‑person Special Education Evaluation Services on an “as‑needed” basis. The contract will cover Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP) and Educational Diagnosticians who must hold Texas state licenses, perform student evaluations, attend ARD/IEP meetings, and maintain documentation for Medicaid reimbursement. Services are required from September 1 2025 (or award date) through May 31 2030, with vendors expected to work 16–40 hours per week per evaluator, provide their own transportation, and comply with background‑check, insurance, and certification requirements. SWISD will award multiple vendors (primary and secondary) and may use the contract across other CTPA member districts.
