Platform One Solutions Marketplace (P1SM)/Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)

The Platform One Solutions Marketplace is a digital environment where the Department of Defense (DoD) can discover and quickly obtain modern hardware, software, and service solutions to support secure, continuous software delivery. The goals of the Platform One Solutions Marketplace are to create a centralized location for the DoD to find innovative solutions, provide a platform for industry, academia, and individual developers to showcase their research and technologies, and streamline procurement of available solutions. The marketplace is open to all US-based companies, traditional and nontraditional, large businesses and small businesses, universities, non-profit companies, and individuals. Some of the key areas of focus for the marketplace include Agile Training and Digital Acquisition Modernization, Application Development, Cloud Operations, Container Hardening, Cyber Security, and DevSecOps Engineering Solutions. Some key benefits of participating in the Solutions Marketplace include exposure and marketing of technology and service solutions to relevant DoD customer organizations, access to a streamlined submission process, fast track assessment timelines, and contract pathways for award of research, development, prototyping, test and evaluation, procurement for experimental purposes, and even production. The submission process involves submitting a video pitch that addresses five required elements: identification of the problem, description of the technology or service solution, potential impact of the solution, differentiation from other solutions, and pricing model. The video submission must be no longer than five minutes, and must conform to specific format requirements.
