Ryle High School Fieldhouse Addition

The Boone County Schools Board of Education is seeking proposals from qualified Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms for design services for the Ryle High School Fieldhouse Addition and Renovation project. The project includes an addition and renovation to the existing athletic fieldhouse, with upgrades to the HVAC system, replacement fencing for softball and baseball fields, and other improvements. The selected A/E firm will be responsible for designing the project, managing the construction process, and ensuring that the project is completed within the defined time schedule, approved budget, and quality guidelines. The firm should have experience in designing educational buildings, maintain professional liability insurance, and have the ability to provide experienced staff. • The project is expected to conclude no later than the summer of 2027. • The A/E firm will be required to meet 702 KAR 4:160 and certain qualifications set out in the RFP. • The firm should be knowledgeable of current applicable statutes and codes related to educational building projects in Kentucky. • The firm should have the ability to prepare and submit necessary documents to appropriate State and Local approval agencies. • The architect of record must directly employ personnel in-house to perform seventy-five percent (75%) of architectural project document preparation and 100% of the architectural work of the construction administration work.
