Description
This market‑research notice seeks firms capable of performing semi‑annual certification, testing, and maintenance of pharmacy and fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, and related containment equipment at the VA San Diego Medical Center. The contract will be a firm‑fixed‑price, base‑year with up to four one‑year options, requiring compliance with numerous safety and industry standards and the delivery of detailed inspection reports and labeling. • Perform semi‑annual testing, certification, and maintenance of LAFHs, BSCs, PALMS area hoods, and related spaces per ISO, USP, OSHA, NEBB, and NSF standards.
• Provide emergency response within 2 hours, after‑hours service on request, and submit digital reports within 10 business days.
• Maintain required licenses, insurance, NSF International Biohazard Cabinet Field Certifier accreditation, and asbestos‑entry certifications.
