IGVF Data and Coordinating Center (U24 Clinical trials Not Allowed)

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) seeks two Cooperative Agreement (U24) awardees to serve as the Impact of Genomic Variation on Function (IGVF) Data and Coordinating Center (DACC). The DACC will operate as the central hub for the IGVF Consortium, expanding and maintaining a publicly accessible data portal and a searchable catalog of measured and predicted variant impacts. Responsibilities include: • Designing, developing, and sustaining the IGVF data portal and variant impact catalog. • Engaging the broader research community for input on catalog design. • Organizing and facilitating consortium activities, including steering‑committee meetings, working groups, and annual recipient gatherings. • Coordinating data integration, best‑practice development, and collaborative analyses across multiple awardees. • Providing recommendations to the program staff on scientific priorities and policy. • Managing reporting, progress monitoring, and dispute‑resolution processes. The award will be a U24 cooperative agreement, with an estimated total funding of $6 million (up to $4 million per award) and an anticipated start date of September 2027 after review. Applicants must be eligible U.S. entities (no foreign sub‑awards) and submit a Data Management and Sharing Plan and annual RPPRs.
