The contract will be awarded to a qualified vendor registered in SAM who can provide Green‑e certified RECs, retire them on AOC’s behalf, and submit annual audited reports. Pricing is per megawatt‑hour and the award will be a multi‑year (up to five‑year) agreement. • Scope: Supply 20,000 MWh of Green‑e certified RECs annually (base year + up to 4 option years). • Contract type: Firm Fixed Price, awarded via negotiated procurement (RFP). • Period of performance: Base year 9/28/2026‑9/27/2027, with four optional years through 9/27/2031. • Delivery: Electronic transfer/retirement of RECs; annual reporting required by June 30 each year. • Mandatory submission: Email‑only quotation by 6:00 PM ET 9/16/2026; questions due 12:00 PM ET 9/14/2026. • Eligibility: Vendor must be SAM‑registered, able to provide Green‑e certified RECs, and submit required attestations and retirement documentation.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,500,000

The contract calls for 20,000 MWh of RECs each year. Market prices for Green‑e certified RECs typically range from $5 to $15 per MWh, depending on vintage and region. Assuming an average price of $10/MWh, annual spend would be about $200,000. Over a potential five‑year term (base year plus four options) the total contract value could range from $500,000 (lower‑end pricing, fewer options exercised) to $1,500,000 (higher‑end pricing, all options exercised). Factors influencing the final amount include actual per‑MWh price, number of option years exercised, and any volume discounts negotiated.
