Ballistic Shields

The Illinois Secretary of State is seeking bids for ten Safariland Protech Assault II LW Ballistic Shields. The shields must meet specific requirements, including having a horizontal handle minimum 10 inches, not exceeding dimensions of 16” wide x 30” long, having a trapezoidal/triangular viewport, and being NIJ Standard 0108.01 compliant. The contract term will be from execution to 6/30/26, and the delivery must be made by August 1, 2026. • The contract has a term of approximately 6 months, with the possibility of renewal for up to 10 years. • The shields must be new, never worn, and manufactured within 90 days of sale. • The vendor must submit pricing in a specific format, including the cost of shipping. • The contract may be terminated for cause or convenience, and the vendor must maintain books and records related to the contract for three years.
