Eastern Kansas Healthcare System Special Mode Transportation

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide non-emergent assisted transportation services for eligible beneficiaries of the Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS). The services include wheelchair van, stretcher, bariatric, and sedan transportation. The contractor will be required to provide 24/7 transportation services, 365 days a year, to various locations in Kansas and Missouri. The contractor must meet specific vehicle requirements, including Kansas/Missouri DOT safety standards, and provide qualified drivers and attendants who meet EKHCS qualifications. The contractor will also be required to maintain an effective quality control program and comply with EKHCS COVID-19 and infectious disease protocols.
