Transit Commercial Automobile & General Liability Insurance

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to furnish Commercial Automobile & General Liability Insurance for the St. Joseph-Mass Transit Division. The selected vendor will provide insurance coverage for the city's transit buses and other vehicles. The proposal should include account management services, administrative functions available electronically, and an organization chart and financial summary of the organization. The city has a DBE Goal of .1% and certified firms are encouraged to bid. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids. • The insurance coverage should include comprehensive general liability, comprehensive automobile, and uninsured motorist coverage. • The vendor should have experience providing similar services to governmental agencies. • The proposal should include a detailed description of the services performed and the beginning and completion dates of the project. • The vendor should provide references and prior experience, preferably with other governmental agencies, in the last 3-5 year period.
