City of Fernley Wastewater Collection System SCADA RFQ

The City of Fernley is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified consulting firms to provide professional SCADA engineering, integration, and construction support services for the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The project focuses on all wastewater-related SCADA components located outside the WWTP, including remote lift stations, NE tank, and others. The selected consultant will be expected to perform services such as project management, stakeholder coordination, existing SCADA system assessment, SCADA system architecture development, and implementation planning. • The City’s wastewater system includes multiple lift stations that rely on aging and outdated SCADA equipment and configurations. • The City seeks to modernize and standardize its SCADA framework to provide a secure, reliable, and scalable system. • The project will establish consistent SCADA standards, address existing operational deficiencies, improve overall system reliability, and provide a clear implementation plan. • The selected consultant will be expected to provide construction-phase support services, including coordination with the selected contractor or system integrator, review of submittals, responses to RFIs, participation in progress meetings, schedule coordination, and support with change management as needed.
