Harriot Street Lift Station Rehabilitation

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) seeks qualified contractors to fully rehabilitate the Harriot Street Lift Station in Beaumont, Texas. The scope includes demolition of existing lift‑station structures, construction of a new lift station with submersible pumps, associated civil works, installation of new control building, extensive electrical and instrumentation upgrades, installation of force‑main and gravity sewer lines, manholes, junction boxes, site improvements (fencing, driveway, parking), storm‑water pollution prevention, trench shoring and safety systems, and related bypass pumping and groundwater control. The bid package requires detailed pricing for each line item, submission of required bonds, insurance, certifications, and compliance with Buy‑America and local MBE participation requirements. • Demolition of existing lift‑station building, dry pit, wet well, pumps, and associated utilities. • New lift‑station construction: concrete wet well, valve vault, submersible pumps, piping, and appurtenances. • Installation of a prefabricated concrete control building with electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems. • Electrical upgrades: underground service, MCC, VFDs, PLC programming, lightning protection, and standby generator receptacle. • Installation of 36″ DI force main, 36″ DI gravity line, 18″ PVC gravity sewer, and associated fittings. • New 48″ fiberglass manholes, concrete junction boxes, and bypass pumping equipment. • Site improvements: chain‑link fence, gate, concrete driveway/parking, water service line, hydrant, backflow preventer, sodding, and storm‑water pollution prevention plan. • Trench shoring, safety systems, and geotechnical reporting. • Required bid bond, performance bond, insurance, certifications, and Buy‑America documentation.
