Self-Funded Health Plan - Stop-Loss Reinsurance Services

Hidalgo County is seeking a qualified respondent to provide Self-Funded Health Plan - Stop-Loss Reinsurance Services. The selected respondent will provide stop-loss reinsurance services to the county's self-funded health plan. The contract term is expected to be one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. The respondent must demonstrate experience in providing stop-loss reinsurance services and meet the requirements outlined in the RFP. • The respondent must provide a detailed proposal outlining their experience and approach to providing stop-loss reinsurance services. • The respondent must demonstrate an understanding of the county's self-funded health plan and the requirements for stop-loss reinsurance services. • The respondent must provide a pricing schedule and certify that their prices are competitive and reasonable. • The respondent must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to the provision of stop-loss reinsurance services.
