2027-031M26 Building Stabilization, CMHHIP Buildings Ph1&

The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is seeking a qualified Architect/Engineer/Consultant to provide design services for the stabilization of several buildings on the Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Pueblo (CMHHIP) campus. The project involves conducting geotechnical assessments, historic engineering assessments, and geotechnical testing to diagnose and stabilize failing structures. The selected firm will be expected to provide basic services as described in the sample Architect/Engineer/Consultant Agreement and Terms and Conditions of the Contract. • The project includes the stabilization of several buildings, including Bldg. 54, Bldg. 1A, Bldg. 33, Bldg. 20, and Bldg. 140. • The firm must have experience in historic preservation and rehabilitation of significant historic structures. • The firm must demonstrate a proven track record of executing complex projects within active, occupied institutional or healthcare campus environments. • The firm must provide evidence of minimum historic preservation credentials, including meeting the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards for Historic Architecture and/or Historic Preservation. • The firm must describe how they plan to accomplish project control and management issues, including budget methodology, cost control, quality control, and schedule management.
