Tabor Autotransformer De-Tanking, Inspection and Testing

This bid seeks a qualified contractor to perform complete de‑tanking, inspection, testing, and necessary repairs on a single 168 MVA, 138 kV three‑phase autotransformer located at the Tabor Substation in Bryan, TX. The work includes mobilization, oil removal, detailed visual and electrical testing (power factor, turns ratio, insulation resistance, SFRA, etc.), replacement of bushings and gaskets, vacuum processing, oil analysis, and final documentation. All testing records must be delivered in .dtax and .sfra formats, and the contractor must provide certified technicians, oil processing equipment, waste handling, and a confined‑space rescue team. BTU will supply site access, switching, and lock‑out/tag‑out services. The contract is a lump‑sum award with monthly progress payments and a 20 % contingency; the entire scope must be completed no later than June 2027.
