RFQ for Architectural/Engineering Services for City County Building Remodel.

The City of Bismarck is seeking architectural/engineering services for the remodel of the Bismarck City County Building. The successful applicant will provide services for planning, design, contract administration, construction administration, and construction inspection. The scope of work includes modernization of the entire building, optimization of available space, updates to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, restroom improvements, security controls, and lighting improvements. The selected firm will work with City Administration and Department Directors to meet the needs of the City. Key considerations for selection include technical capabilities, experience, understanding of the project, knowledge of regulations, and ability to respond in a timely manner. • Work with City staff to grasp a vision for the building and adjacent grounds • Modernization of the entire building • Optimization of available space • Update or replace the existing HVAC system as needed • Update or replace the plumbing system as needed • Update or replace the existing electrical system as needed • Restroom improvements • Security controls and improvements • Lighting controls and improvements • All improvements need to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Requirements
