Employee Benefit Brokerage and Consulting Services RFP

The Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation is seeking a qualified firm to provide employee benefit brokerage and consulting services. The selected firm will be responsible for evaluating and implementing the company's employee group health and welfare plans, providing consulting services, financial and data analysis, plan placement, vendor management, and renewals. The firm will also provide informational services, including monitoring the legislative environment and providing updates and guidance on healthcare reform and compliance matters. The contract is expected to be for a two-year period. • Evaluate plan design and provide strategic recommendations • Collect and analyze benchmark data • Perform healthcare reform calculations and provide guidance • Develop comprehensive employee communications support • Provide financial analysis and funding recommendations • Evaluate employee contribution strategy and develop related recommendations • Conduct thorough competitive vendor/market analysis • Negotiate provider and insurer agreements and renewals • Implement new benefit programs • Review insurance vendor contracts and policy documents
