The ThinPrep Processors are used for automated sample prep for ThinPrep Pap Test, ThinPrep Non-Gyn, and ThinPrep UroCyte slides. The key benefits of the ThinPrep Processors include automated sample prep, optional tube and slide printers, automated aliquoting, integrated chain-of-custody and sample tracking, streamlined workflow, and ergonomic design. The market research conducted by the Contracting Officer found that Hologic is uniquely qualified to provide the ThinPrep Processors, and no other vendors were found to be capable of meeting the CLE VAMC's specific requirements.
