The State of Tennessee, through its Real Estate and Asset Management (STREAM) division, is seeking a contractor to design, install, commission, and maintain a continuous acoustic and/or vibration monitoring system for the 18‑story James K. Polk Building in downtown Nashville. The scope includes supplying sensors, data acquisition hardware, cellular communication equipment, installation of wiring and mounting hardware, system integration, software configuration, testing, acceptance, a 60‑month warranty, ongoing data collection, weekly reporting, and rapid anomaly notifications (within five minutes). The contract is for an initial three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions, and the contractor must provide all labor, materials, documentation, and support.
• Provide a monitoring system (accelerometers and/or acoustic sensors) with cellular modem for off‑site data storage.
• Install, test, and certify all hardware and wiring per NEC and relevant standards.
• Deliver continuous data, weekly activity reports, and immediate alerts for abnormal events.
• Supply operation/maintenance manuals, training, and a 60‑month warranty.
• Perform annual maintenance and software updates; critical bug fixes within 15 days.
