MWBE & SDVOB Opportunities - Baruch College IT Building Renovation (PLA/Union) Owner: Dormitory Authority – State of New York (“DASNY”) Architect/Engineer: Elemental Architecture LLC Location: Baruch College, 151 East 25th Street, New York, NY 10010 Project Description: Interior renovation of approximately 39,000 SF of the Newman Library on the 2nd and 4th floors of the Baruch College Information & Technology Building, with ceiling and lighting work at the 3rd floor atrium. Work includes selective demolition and asbestos/lead abatement; GWB partitions and acoustic ceiling and wall systems; frameless glazed partitions, hollow metal doors, frames and hardware; custom millwork; carpet tile, cement leveling, porcelain tile and painting; restroom renovations with toilet partitions, accessories and plumbing fixtures; HVAC, DDC controls and balancing; electrical, lighting and lighting controls; sprinkler and fire alarm modifications; telecommunications cabling and audiovisual systems. Project Labor Agreement: The successful low bidder, as condition of being awarded this Contract, will be required to execute the PLA. All subcontractors of every tier will be required to agree to be bound by the PLA.
