SKYLINE CENTER CAFE

The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified vendor to lease and operate the ground‑level café space in the Skyline Center building. The selected vendor will be responsible for all aspects of café management—including staffing, inventory, point‑of‑sale operations, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations—while the City provides the physical space, basic fixtures, and utilities. The contract is a one‑year lease with two optional one‑year renewals, and the vendor must submit a proposed monthly lease fee along with a detailed operational and financial plan. • Full responsibility for daily coffee, specialty beverages, grab‑and‑go food, and related services (no commercial kitchen required). • Must supply and maintain all equipment, POS hardware/software, internet service, and handle 24/7 delivery logistics. • Required licenses: NC business registration, New Hanover County health license, Food Safety Manager certificate; plus extensive insurance coverage. • Mandatory pre‑proposal meeting on September 3 2026; proposal deadline September 22 2026, 3 PM.
