RFP Occupational Healthcare and Physician Services

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive occupational health and physician services across the State of New Jersey. The contract requires a New Jersey‑licensed, board‑certified occupational‑medicine physician to be on‑site ≥ 30 hours per week, supported by a nurse, nurse‑manager, and clerical staff, with on‑call coverage for absences. The scope includes pre‑employment physicals, workers’‑comp case management, disability and leave program administration, emergency treatment, drug‑and‑alcohol testing oversight, respiratory fit‑testing, reporting, and participation in various Authority committees. The three‑year base contract (with two optional one‑year extensions) will be awarded to a firm that meets stringent licensing, insurance, EEO, and ethical certifications, and provides a firm lump‑sum annual fee plus hourly rates for extra coverage. • Provide on‑site occupational‑medicine physician services (≥ 30 hrs/week) plus nursing and clerical support. • Deliver comprehensive workers’ compensation, disability, leave, and emergency medical services, including reporting and drug‑test oversight. • Must maintain extensive insurance coverage, submit multiple affidavits (moral integrity, non‑collusion, Iran investment, etc.), and comply with New Jersey EEO and affirmative‑action requirements.
