Tennis Program Management and Instruction Services

The Boone County is seeking to contract with an individual, group, or business to organize and operate tennis programs at specified County-owned and/or leased tennis facilities. The selected Tennis Professional will be responsible for implementing a County tennis program that includes camps, classes, leagues, lessons, drills, clinics, tournaments, special events, and other professional tennis-related services. The program will be conducted at three County facilities: Boone Woods Park, Central Park, and Walton Park. The Tennis Professional will supervise and perform minor maintenance at tennis facilities utilized for programs and shall reserve tennis courts as prescribed by the County. The County reserves the right to regulate the hours and locations of tennis programs, and all programs shall be coordinated with the County. • The Tennis Professional shall provide the County with a monthly financial report pertaining to operations under the Tennis Contractual Services Agreement, including revenues and expenses for each tennis program offered. • The County will receive a minimum of ten percent (10%) of the gross receipts generated from the revenue of all tennis programs provided by the Tennis Professional. • The Tennis Professional shall operate as an independent contractor and shall not be considered an employee of the County. • The Tennis Professional shall assume responsibility for all refunds to participants and for the collection of bad checks.
