The University of Arizona seeks a qualified vendor to manufacture, coat, test, and deliver a suite of precision optical interference filters for the Lazuli Space Observatory’s Widefield Context Camera (WCC). The scope includes production of broadband, ultra‑broadband, and narrow‑band filters with stringent optical, mechanical, and durability specifications, provision of witness samples and coating coupons, detailed inspection and test reports, a Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR), and clean‑room packaging meeting Level 100A standards. The vendor must also supply cost and schedule proposals, with an optional expedite fee for faster delivery. • Manufacture ~24 custom interference filters (rectangular & round) using fused‑silica substrates, meeting tight wavefront error (≤ ¼ λ) and surface‑quality tolerances. • Apply multi‑layer anti‑reflection coatings and meet ghost‑fraction (FGF) < 0.4 % and out‑of‑band OD 4‑6 requirements. • Deliver witness samples, coupons, inspection reports, and conduct an MRR prior to production; maintain Level 100A cleanliness in packaging. • Submit a complete price proposal, schedule, and optional expedite fee via the University’s GEP/Quantum portal by the extended deadline.
