OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

The City of Reno is seeking one or more qualified occupational therapists to provide on‑site wellness and rehabilitation services for the Reno Police Department’s approximately 450 personnel. Services include individual functional assessments, custom intervention plans, ergonomic evaluations, injury‑prevention education, and regular reporting, all delivered under a capped hourly rate and annual budget. • Perform on‑site functional capacity evaluations and develop return‑to‑duty plans for non‑work‑related injuries. • Conduct ergonomic assessments of police facilities, equipment, and vehicle setups, recommending modifications. • Design and deliver training programs on injury prevention, ergonomics, and self‑management for law‑enforcement staff. • Maintain HIPAA‑compliant documentation and provide periodic performance reports to the Police Wellness team. • Must hold a Nevada OT license, a City of Reno business license, and carry required insurance; rate not to exceed $81.25/hr with a $48,600 annual cap.
