Description
The Iowa Department of Public Defense (DPD) is seeking a qualified vendor to upgrade the control system at the Camp Dodge lift station. The scope includes retrofitting a new USFilter‑based PLC, operator touchscreen, networking hardware, radio telemetry, and associated instrumentation, while retaining existing power distribution equipment. All hardware must be Build America Buy America (BABA) compliant. The contractor must provide design, fabrication, programming, installation, testing, documentation, training, and one‑year post‑installation support.
• Replace obsolete USFilter controller with Allen‑Bradley CompactLogix 5069 and I/O modules
• Install 7‑inch color touchscreen operator interface and 5‑port Ethernet switch
• Provide UPS, circuit breaker, surge arrestor, power supply, and Modbus gateway
• Add radio telemetry (Arista transceiver, Yagi antenna, coax surge protection)
• Supply intrinsic‑safe barriers, float switches, level transducer, current sensing relays, and related wiring components
• Perform complete panel design, fabrication, wiring, PLC/OIT programming, and SCADA integration
• Deliver O&M manuals, on‑site training, and one‑year callback service for programming adjustments or training
• All equipment must meet BABA requirements; exceptions require written approval
