RFP Traffic & Transportation Engineering Services

The City of Syracuse is seeking up to four qualified engineering firms to provide a broad range of traffic and transportation engineering services on an as‑needed basis for a 32‑month contract (Nov 1 2026 – Jun 30 2028). Services include data collection, accident analysis, traffic impact studies, parking and pavement marking designs, roadway and multimodal facility design, signal design and coordination, fiber‑optic and wireless communication system design, construction administration, and related inspection and consulting tasks. The contract will be awarded based on qualifications, experience, proposed staffing, rate schedule, and ability to meet the City’s equity and diversity goals. Firms must submit a detailed hourly rate schedule, references, and demonstrate knowledge of NYS and local regulations.
