Flexible Spending and Health Reimbursement Accounts Administrator

The City of Des Moines is requesting sealed proposals from qualified companies for an Administrator for Group Flexible Spending Accounts and Group Health Reimbursement Accounts. The goal is to select an experienced administrator with a high level of customer service, flexibility, and reliable and robust systems. The City has maintained Kabel (Infinisource) as its provider since 2015. The selected administrator will be responsible for providing claims administration, excellent customer service, and online access to timely reports. • Key aspects of the job include claims administration, customer service, and online reporting. • The City is looking for a provider that can offer enhanced customer service through telephonic support and a user-friendly website and mobile application. • The selected administrator will be responsible for providing a streamlined process for enrollment for members and for City administrators. • The City has approximately 1,722 employees, with 528 participating in at least one Flexible Spending Account and 303 with open Health Reimbursement Accounts.
