Description
The Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking qualified community‑based organizations to serve as Lead Agencies for its Community Schools program. Lead Agencies will hire and supervise a full‑time Community School Coordinator at each assigned school, conduct needs assessments, develop implementation plans, coordinate wrap‑around services, collect and report data, and participate in district training and evaluation activities. Up to 151 schools may be awarded contracts, each lasting a three‑year term with two optional one‑year renewals. The contract is a requirements contract paid on a daily‑rate basis; the CSC salary must be at least $69,000 per year. Entities must demonstrate at least two years of experience serving youth, families, or schools in urban settings and must be able to manage data sharing under FERPA.
• Implement Community School Strategy at eligible K‑12 schools
• Hire, train, and co‑supervise a full‑time Community School Coordinator (minimum $69K salary)
• Conduct annual needs assessments and produce action plans
• Provide ongoing data collection, reporting, and compliance with ESSA and district policies
• Participate in mandatory post‑award and professional‑development meetings
• Manage contracts for up to 151 schools over a three‑year base period (with two 1‑year renewal options)
