Rental & Concession Vendor for Weedon Island

The County of Pinellas is seeking a concession vendor to provide rental services at Weedon Island Preserve. The vendor will be responsible for providing concession services under a flexible operational model, which may include on-site rentals, satellite/off-site staging with delivery, guided eco-tours or educational programming, and hybrid service models. The vendor must comply with County operational, environmental, and site-specific constraints. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing concession services at Weedon Island Preserve • Complying with County operational, environmental, and site-specific constraints • Offering innovative approaches to concession services • Participating in a kickoff meeting with County staff • Submitting all required permits, insurance, POS systems, and operational plans • Providing an equipment and staffing plan The evaluation criteria for this RFP include qualifications, approach, statement of work, compensation, and exceptions to the RFP. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified vendor, and the County reserves the right to reject any or all responses.
