Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

Based on the RFP, it appears that the Mississippi Insurance Department is seeking a professional testing organization to administer license examinations for insurance agents, insurance adjusters, and bail bondsmen. The contract will be for a one-year term, with the option to renew for up to three additional years. The total number of years permitted under this contract shall not exceed four years. The RFP does not provide a specific budget for the contract, but it does mention that the testing organization will be responsible for collecting fees from candidates. According to the RFP, the testing organization will be responsible for administering approximately 18,594 insurance producer exams, 1,870 insurance adjuster exams, and 583 bail bond exams per year. Assuming an average fee of $50 per exam, the total revenue for the testing organization could be around $1,023,350 per year. However, this is just an estimate and the actual revenue could be higher or lower, depending on the actual fees collected and the number of exams administered.
