C1DA--626-26-102 - A-E Upgrade Mechanical Room Systems

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Architectural and Engineering firms to provide services for the upgrade of mechanical room systems at the Nashville Campus of the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. The project involves replacing four air handling unit systems and includes the design of associated system components, such as return fans, humidifiers, and variable speed drives. The selected firm will be required to provide complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, and services throughout construction. The construction budget is estimated to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. • The project requires compliance with HVAC Design Guidelines and VA Program Guides and design materials. • The selected firm must be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be verified by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE). • The firm must submit their current SF330 by the response deadline, and the selection of the most qualified contractor will follow the guidance provided in FAR 36.6 - Architect-Engineer Services. • The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this request, and the award of a contract is not guaranteed.
