Financial Audit Services RFP

The City County Insurance Services (CIS) is seeking a qualified firm to provide financial audit services for CIS Trust and the Oregon Public Entity Excess Pool (OPEEP). The selected firm will provide separate annual financial audits to CIS and OPEEP, including assurance of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations. The firm will also prepare financial statements, note disclosures, and a management letter with recommendations for process and system efficiencies. The contract is expected to be for a period of five years, with an option for renewal. • The scope of work includes providing financial audit services to CIS and OPEEP, including assurance of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations. • The firm will provide separate annual financial audits to CIS and OPEEP, including preparation of financial statements, note disclosures, and a management letter. • The firm will also provide a management letter with recommendations for process and system efficiencies. • The contract is expected to be for a period of five years, with an option for renewal. • The firm will be required to attend three meetings in person with CIS each year, including a planning meeting, an audit committee meeting, and a board meeting. • The firm will be required to provide a work plan, technical approach, and cost schedule as part of their proposal.
