Description
The Town of Knightdale is establishing a five‑year, on‑call contract for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services to support roadway, sidewalk, greenway, and other capital projects. Qualified private engineering firms submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) by September 21, 2026; the Town may shortlist firms and conduct oral interviews before awarding one or more contracts. The work is cost‑plus, may be partially funded by federal‑aid (NCDOT), and requires NCDOT‑certified engineers, insurance, and compliance with numerous federal, state, and local regulations. Subconsultants are allowed, and small professional service firm participation is encouraged.
