RFP Redundant Internet Service

Washtenaw Community College is seeking a vendor to provide a campus‑wide redundant Internet service that operates independently of the primary ISP. The contract requires a dedicated secondary fiber‑optic circuit with symmetrical, unmetered bandwidth, 24×7 support, and BGP routing capability. The service must be operational by mid‑July 2026 and the agreement may last up to three years. Vendors must also satisfy the college’s minimum security standards and submit a complete quote, signed signature page, and completed security questionnaire in a single PDF. • Provide a 4‑5 Gbps committed bandwidth circuit (loop capacity up to 10 Gbps) with fiber delivery to the Student Center building. • Ensure 99.99 % availability, <0.1 % packet loss, 24 × 7 × 365 technical support, and BGP peering with the college’s ASN. • Deliver a detailed implementation plan, MTTR commitments, and all required security compliance documentation (Attachment A).
