The City of Redding is soliciting quotes for the sale of its surplus scrap metal for the month of November 2026. Vendors may quote per‑pound rates for a range of ferrous and non‑ferrous metals, as well as per‑net‑ton rates for bulk items such as appliances and processed A/C units. The city will either deliver materials to local vendors (within a 15‑mile radius) or require vendors to pick up materials from various city facilities within specified time frames. Successful vendors must provide signed weight tickets, maintain required insurance, and submit payment documentation within a week of material transfer.
• Pricing must be firm for the entire month and submitted by 2 PM on Oct 30 2026.

• Delivery options: “City Delivers” (city transports materials) or “Vendor Picks Up” (vendor responsible for pickup).
