Description
Miami County (Kansas) is seeking bids for new half‑ton, 4×4 crew‑cab pickup trucks (2026 model year or newer) to support its Road & Bridge department’s fleet. The contract is a 12‑month, open‑end agreement with an option to renew, and the County will purchase the vehicles on a “as‑needed” basis throughout the term. Bidders must provide brand‑new, factory‑spec vehicles meeting detailed performance, safety, and equipment requirements (V‑8 gasoline engine, 4‑wheel drive, 6,500 lb GVW, full suite of interior and exterior features, warranty, manuals, and three sets of keys). Delivery must be to the County’s Highway Department in Paola, KS, with prior notice and compliance with inspection, warranty, and reporting obligations. The County will evaluate bids based on price, availability, delivery schedule, and compliance with specifications, and will award to the most advantageous offer.
