RFP026-14 Carrier for Retiree Medicare Advantage Plan

The City of Meriden is seeking proposals from qualified insurance carriers to provide its group Medicare Advantage program for its Medicare-eligible retired employees and eligible spouses on a fully insured basis. The program should be a passive PPO plan with no exclusions, restrictions, or benefit limitations for pre-existing conditions, and no waiting periods for coverage. The proposer should have experience in providing similar services to other Connecticut municipalities of similar size.
