CONSULTANT FOR 5G

The Township of Toms River is seeking a consultant to provide advice and assistance on the installation, location, and deployment of 5G wireless technology, hardware, and facilities. The consultant will be responsible for drafting customized ordinances, policies, and procedures, as well as providing recommendations on laws and regulations governing 5G wireless technology. The consultant will also be required to prepare a master plan, negotiate lease and license agreements, and review and oversee construction and upgrades to 5G wireless facilities. • The contract period will be from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. • The consultant will be paid from fees collected from carriers. • The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. • The method of award will be based on the vendor(s) considered most advantageous to the Township.
