Description
The City of Seattle is seeking qualified consultants to provide communications services for various city departments. The selected consultants will be added to the city's consultant roster and may be contracted for specific projects. The scope of work includes communications studies, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, recommendations, technical writing, editing, public presentations, group facilitation, graphic art, video production, web development, reports, or expert witness. The city is looking for consultants with experience in providing consultation on communications studies, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, recommendations, technical writing, editing, public presentations, group facilitation, graphic art, video production, web development, reports, or expert witness. Some key points to note are:
* The city has a small business priority in effect, which means that consultants who do not fall within the definition of a "small business concern" will not be eligible to be approved to a roster.
* Not-for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply for the City's consultant roster program.
* The city reserves the right to modify the solicitation and make changes to the consultant roster program.
* Consultants must meet minimum qualification requirements, including having completed three or more projects that fall under the scope of work description for the roster category they are applying to.
* Consultants must have the required professional licenses, certificates, and education to perform the type of work being sought.
* The city may remove a consultant from the roster at its discretion before the current cycle ends.
* Consultants have the right to appeal rejection notifications to the consultant roster program.
* The city does not guarantee utilization of any agreement(s) awarded to a consultant who was selected off of a consultant roster.
